What data should be included in a record layout?

When setting up to gather information for a database, consider not just how to use it today but how it may be required to perform in the future.

You may only need name, company, address, suburb, state and postcode fields now, but what will your requirements be in the future.

• Will you require a salutation field?
• Should addresses be in upper case or mixed case?
